RAJGARH TRANSMISSION LIMITED was incorporated on dated 6th June 2020. it entered into a transmission service agreement dated December 21, 2021 with REC POWER DEVELOPMENT AND CONSULTANCY LIMITED (Formerly REC Power Distribution Company Limited (Bid Process Coordinator). RAJGARH TRANSMISSION LIMITED scheme will enable integration of 2.5 GW SEZ in Rajgarh area with the ISTS grid.

The RAJGARH TRANSMISSION LIMITED project was awarded to GR Infraprojects Limited on Tariff based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) by the Ministry of Power on March 31, 2022 for a period of 35-years from the scheduled commercial operation date of the Project. The project is awarded on Build, Own, Operate and Maintain (BOOM) basis

REC’s subsidiary REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) on May 30th 2022 handed over Rajgarh Transmission Limited to G R Infraprojects Limited. The SPV was formed for construction of transmission project viz. transmission system for evacuation of power from RE projects in Rajgarh (2,500 MW) SEZ in Madhya Pradesh and shall be responsible as the TSP, for ensuring that it undertakes ownership, financing, development, design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the Project, and to provide Transmission Service to the Long-Term Transmission Customers.
